A Comprehensive Walkthrough of MSC World Europa’s Dining, Entertainment & Cabin

Looking down the World Promenade to the rear of the Ship
MSC World Europa is one of the most modern ships in the MSC fleet. It offers a blend of luxury, entertainment, and eco-friendly innovations. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventurous vacation, this ship provides something for everyone.
Check out our MSC World Europa Ship Tour video for a comprehensive walkthrough of the ship’s dining, entertainment, and cabin options. This blog will highlight the key inclusions for all guests and provide a helpful guide to what’s included in your base fare.
MSC World Europa is one of the newest and largest ships in the MSC fleet, launched in late 2022. At 333 metres long and over 215,000 gross tons, it accommodates up to 6,762 guests with more than 2,100 crew. Despite its size, the ship offers plenty of cozy, intimate spaces from quiet lounges and tucked-away bars to peaceful corners with ocean views, making it surprisingly relaxing even with thousands onboard. It’s also powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), making it one of MSC’s most sustainable ships yet.

A “Couples’ Tip” from us on how to choose

Cabin Bathroom 14065
Thoughts & Lessons Learned
We always opt to pick our cabin, and with MSC, the package can dictate where you end up on the ship, so if you prefer a specific location, keep that in mind when you book.
If you want less movement, choosing a cabin mid-ship is recommended. I always try to book a cabin on a floor with Cabins above and below, as this can help eliminate being disturbed by noise from public areas.
We had the Aurea package, which, among other benefits, gave us great cabin locations to choose from.
Dining Venues
On board the MSC World Europa, there are 4 main dining rooms included in the base fare, offering a variety of meals throughout your cruise: La Foglia, Esagono, Hexagon, and Bubbles. Guests can also enjoy meals in 2 buffet restaurants: Il Mercato and La Brasserie, as well as the casual dining option, Pizza & Burger. There’s also access to the exclusive Les Dunes restaurant for guests in the Aurea package in suites. Thoughts & Lessons Learned

House Brews From Masters of the Seas
We enjoy trying most included options and specialty dining, and we like to mix up our experience by booking restaurants that need it. We try to spread out our meals so we do not eat multiple nights in a row at the same restaurant.
Check what you can book before boarding and watch for pre-cruise specials, as you can save on packages. We booked our dining times when we boarded and did this almost first thing once onboard.
MSC World Europa had a specific booking station near Kaito Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar on deck 7.
Our least favourite place was Pizza and Burger; we had heard great things, but it definitely disappointed.
There is a lovely outdoor dining space on deck 19 at the back of the La Brasserie, and we found this a less hectic and quieter place to enjoy breakfast if you want a buffet.
Entertainment & Activities
Theatre Shows & Live Entertainment:

Broadway Show in the World Theatre
World Theatre (Free for all guests): This is the primary theatre onboard, offering nightly Broadway-style shows, musicals, and performances. It’s a must-visit venue for all guests to experience the full-scale productions.
Luna Park Arena (Free for all guests): A versatile, large venue that hosts live performances, game shows, comedy acts, and other special events. It’s also the venue for more interactive, family-oriented entertainment.
The Panorama Lounge (Free for all guests): A futuristic, immersive venue that offers 360-degree projections, interactive experiences, and digital performances. It’s one of the most unique spaces for entertainment on board.
Activities:

Kerryn at the mouth of the Venom Drop
Venom Drop Slide (Free for all guests): One of the ship’s most thrilling attractions, this dry slide is free for all guests to use.
Aurea Spa and Thermal spa (Included in Aurea Package, Extra for others): Relax and rejuvenate with unlimited access to the thermal suite, which includes saunas, steam rooms, and more. Non-Aurea guests can access the spa for an additional charge.
Fitness Centre (Free for all guests): The onboard gym is fully equipped and open to all passengers.
Outdoor Activities: The ship offers multiple outdoor activities, including mini-golf, a jogging track, ping-pong, and more.
Thoughts & Lessons Learned

Heated Beds in the Salt room in the Thermal Spa
The Shows were great, and Amelia booked out quickly, so book it as soon as possible, especially if you want a specific evening.
The thermal spa is only booked a day in advance, so you should be able to get most days. We found the afternoons busy, but mid-morning and after dinner were quite relaxing and not busy.
MSC World Europa: Bars & Lounges Overview
There are 20 bars and lounges onboard the MSC World Europa, offering diverse experiences. However, it’s important to note that most beverages are not included in the base fare and are available at an additional cost unless you have purchased a drinks package.

To enjoy beverages at many of these venues, guests can purchase one of MSC’s drink packages. The available packages include
Easy Package: Includes a selection of house wines, draft beer, and soft drinks.
Easy Plus Package: Offers a wider selection of wines, cocktails, and spirits.
Premium Extra Package: Provides the most comprehensive selection, including premium spirits, wines, and cocktails.
Thoughts & Lessons Learned
Please note that some venues, such as the Coffee Emporium, are not included in the Easy Package and may require an upgrade. Additionally, drinks from the minibar, room service, and specific specialty venues are not included in the base fare or drinks packages and will incur an additional charge.
Our booking included the Easy Plus Drinks package, and apart from the Coffee Emporium, we found drinks covered by the package everywhere. You can buy drinks as you go, and you will have the prices on the menus at various bars.
If you are looking for quiet places to hang out on board, we found the Coffee Emporium, Raj Polo Tea House, and the Fizz Champagne Bar, all lovely, relaxed areas to chill and enjoy being together.
Be sure to read the inclusions and price cap for drinks in each Package.

Thoughts & Lessons Learned
Being an older couple, we may not have used these areas, but wandering around and seeing families hanging out, I noticed they seemed very happy with the choices.
Dining Packages and WiFi

Drink packages help in the afternoon
Dining Packages: The My Choice Dining option is available for Aurea and Fantastica guests, offering the flexibility to dine anytime during designated hours. For an extra cost, you can also purchase a specialty dining package, giving you access to fine dining options like Butcher’s Cut or Kaito Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar.
WiFi: Basic internet access is available for all passengers; however, premium WiFi packages are available for purchase if you need faster speeds for browsing, social media, or streaming.
Thoughts & Lessons Learned
We are big fans of anytime dining, and as Aurea Package cabin guests, we could choose the time we arrived at Bubbles when we ate there and never had a problem. There is a dedicated dining room for Aurea Guests in Suites and above Les Dunes, but cabins below this will be allocated a dining room.
The Trio packages include Butcher’s Cut, Chef’s Garden Kitchen, and Kaito Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar. I don’t eat seafood, and we were able to swap out Katio for Hola! Tacos & Cantina.
