Like many organisations, Sapphire Blue Travel has been through significant pivots over the last two years, but our core purpose has NEVER changed. We are here to inspire couples travel together through life and travel.
With the dawn of Covid-19 in the world, like many, Sapphire Blue travel had big choices to make. We have been working towards finding our feet. Our vision has evolved to balance what we believe God has called us to do and how we will serve you into the future.
We may not sell travel experiences anymore. But through our videos, blogs, and podcast, we offer you and your spouse the inspiration, tools and examples to help you enjoy all life has to offer. We aim to inspire you through our videos discovering new places and helping you plan your next adventure. Our blog and podcast are both full of not just travel inspiration, tips and advice, but we will talk about ways to build strong marriages and how to combine it all to bring about the best years you could dream of living.

About Kerryn
Who is Kerryn? I am a wife, mum, grandmother (Gigi), a travel lover called by God to do amazing things.
In 2018 Sapphire Blue Travel was created as a travel agency focussing on serving couples looking to travel to Europe. As I worked to build the agency, I quickly learned my passion was in helping those I served, not just travel; I wanted to help them travel well and thrive in their marriage relationships.
How Am I serving couples today?
When Covid-19 hit, and I lost 100% of my bookings overnight, I had a decision to make. I felt the stir to start a youtube channel to help people with tips and destination overviews of Europe. This paved the way to move to serving through education. The remainder 2020 I focused on learning new video creation skills and made short destination overviews of places we had visited in our six visits to Europe and the UK and tips to help enhance a European adventure.
As Covid-19 dug its heels in 2021, Phil and I decided that I could not faithfully focus on Europe. We had no idea when we would ever get back to the places we loved exploring. Instead, we decided to fall back in love with our own backyard and enjoy every moment. I set about showcasing the Blue Mountains in NSW (for five months, it was all we could explore). Hoping not just to tell a little of our story during the lockdown, but to inspire others with the hope that they could explore where they lived.
Once lockdown was over give some great options of places to visit in the Blue Mountains. Throughout 2021 Phil joined me in the videos as we set about travelling together and showing casing where we could travel.
Speaking to couples was 20 years in the making
In 2021 God was reawakening a deep but buried desire to speak to those couples who are barely doing life together because they had served everyone else over the years except the one they promised to love, honour, and be committed to until death do they part. God had been fostering this heart for couples since the early 2000’s when we were in ministry and now the fire was burning bright again.
I know there are couples out there who I will not reach, and some of my musings may be too simple. Maybe you need to do work with a counsellor. Some may need to leave. For those who want to find a way out of the hole of ho-hum or even desperation, I want to show up for those couples. I want to help you with resources and tips to help strengthen your marriages, and I believe travel can be one of the avenues we can use. As we seek to be equipped in one area, the benefits can and do extend to others if we let them.
